A giant tree stands on a hill, where migrating birds rest. A wind blowing through, a tree rustling. Hogushi* weave could depict the finest detail of this scene. *Hogushi is a conventional Japanese weaving technique. The pattern is first printed onto a loosely woven fabric that has a temporary weft. After printing, the fabric is unwoven and woven again more densely by using the printed warp and different weft. In doing so, the pattern can achieve a fainted sensorial effect.
