DESIGN MUSEUM JAPAN: Exploring Japanese Design" exhibition was held in Sao Paulo to discover and disseminate designs with rich stories from all over Japan.

Japan has nurtured a unique lifestyle and culture for more than 10,000 years since the Jomon period. The treasures of design nurtured by unknown people in various regions have been researched by eight leading creators from around the world.

Eight creators active on the world's frontlines have researched the treasures of design nurtured by unknown people in each region. The stories behind them are also introduced.

In addition to exhibits introducing each research project, there are also specially produced videos of the research by NHK, books written by the creators and books related to the theme. There is also an interactive corner where visitors can think about what design means to them, and introduce the 'treasures of design' that exist in everyday life in different parts of Brazil.
