Founded in 1952, the International House of Japan was jointly designed by three of Japan's leading modern architects - Kunio Maekawa, Junzo Sakakura and Junzo Yoshimura - and the main building is now a registered tangible cultural property. It has a beautiful garden and visitor can use café also. It is a beautiful, historical and cultural place.
Minagawa's relationship with the International House of Japan deepened when he originally liked to visit, and he is also featured in the International House of Japan's 70th anniversary documentary “THREE ARCHITECTS”.
