Akira Minagawa solo exhibition “Katawara”

Akira Minagawa’s first solo exhibition “Katawara” will be held at Hillside Terrace in Daikanyama.

The title ‘Katawara’ comes from the idea that items displayed here will blend into the scenery of daily life and become a familiar thing that always stay by your side. Minagawa, who has been drawing for textile designs, has created a playful and imaginary world using different medium freely; lithographs, etchings, printing on vintage tinplate and ceramic objects.

Also, paintings produced at the exhibition “minä perhonen / akira minagawa TSUZUKU” from 2019 to 2022, and the exhibition “風景の色 景色の風 / feel to see” in 2020, will also be displayed at the exhibition.

We are happy to invite everyone to view Minagawa’s delicate and effortless objects and colors of pieces.
