minä perhonen/ akira minagawa TSUZUKU at Fukuoka Art Museum April 23 - June 19

The exhibition minä perhonen/ akira minagawa TSUZUKU at Fukuoka Art Museum will open tomorrow. At the exhibition, you will be able to see what we value, our thoughts on ways of making, and the background behind our work, through 27 years of designs. The "unreachable landscape" that Minagawa created publicly the other day will be exhibited in the exhibition room as a new piece of work.

Café AQUAM and restaurant PRUNUS in the museum will offer special collaboration menus during the term. Customers can enjoy, at café AQUAM, pancakes decorated with minä perhonen motifs, and at restaurant Prunus, a soup based on Minagawa’s recipe, which was created from his memories of travels in Scandinavia, is offered as a course menu by the chef.

A variety of items are also available in the museum’s special store. Bags, handkerchiefs, socks, and other items made from archival textiles are available.
In addition to the standard “tambourine” edition and the eight limited editions that have been introduced in the past, a new “triathlon” edition of the exhibition catalogue has been added.
In addition, Fukuoka's famous confectionery, Tirolian, has been packaged by minä perhonen. We hope you bring them home with the memories of the exhibition.
