Kvadrat released a new textile Melange Nap designed by Akira Minagawa, founder/chief designer of minä perhonen.
Forest, Sun, Ocean, Minerals, Earth and Dune are the 6 natural elements that inspired Akira to design the new textile.
All about exceptional depth of colour and surprising details, Melange Nap has a unique melange expression and transforms an interior into ‘scenery’ within its space. Coloured to reflect natural elements, it fills the air with the peaceful ambience associated with nature.
Debuted on 15th Jan. 2018 at imm cologne in Köln/Cologne, Germany, together with the designs by other featured artists: Louise Sigvardt, Paul Smith, Maharam and Hella Jongerius.
