Candles by "desico," a Finnish candle maker established in 1963, are carefully crafted one by one by artisans using traditional methods.
The colors of candles, inspired by the gentle light in a forest, were produced by mixing dyes to achieve the color scheme chosen by the designer, Akira Minagawa.
The candle has little wax dripping or smoke so the entire candle melts evenly, and it was designed to be slightly shorter than its original size so it fits well within Japanese homes. One can appreciate the use of candles and its warm light, just like Nordic home style.
