"joy" 2005-06^→aw

This design expresses a happy moment of birds playing in a flower. Playing with innocence is nothing more feeling liberated. When I was small, I used to feel ticklish around my stomach for some reason, when I was playing hide-and-seek. Even now, I can still recall the feeling.

Being an adult, my daily life has become more and more consumed with plans and objectives. Like the birds of "joy", the feeling of joyfully playing together and rejoicing in each other's company seems to be an origin form of happiness. The feeling of enjoying life. I want my textiles to express this idea.
